When i was in highschool I broke my right earphone and could only listen to songs on my left. And i couldnt hear the guitar when this played :( i always wondered why he did that
End of Small Sanctuary is the track that plays during the begginning of the game right after Heather wakes up from her nightmares. There's something really nostalgic about the song, almost relaxing to hear. It's because this is the only normal segment, nothing is wrong and nothing bad happened yet.
Right after the song stops playing Heather is transported to the other dimension. A hellish world, completely shattering her normal teenage life. Literally her small sanctuary is over. Her life is completely changed now.
When i played this part i really didnt wanna leave the bathroom, i didnt wanna leave this safe place.
It reminds me of a feeling: being somewhere safe and comforting, before the horrible change.
